The Chapter activities are generally two fold.
First, we raise funds to provide support for various tasks and projects. These projects generally include financial aid to veterans and or their families. In addition we work with local social groups to provide veteran support. There is very little overhead in running these programs.
The vast majority of funds raised are returned to those in need in the community. In addition, the local VVA has provided support and funding to the Veterans Guest House in Reno, Fernley Veterans Cemetery, the Ridge House in Reno, the Nevada Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Mills Park in Carson City, and other veterans service organizations.
