Monthly Meeting and annual pot luck

18:05 call to order and pledge of allegiance.
Prayer was offered by Leon Gravelin
Roll Call: All officers present except Rick Shuster and Kenny Williams. Both of whom were sick.
Treasurer’s report: presented by Bob Marshall. Current balance was $8,490.50.
Petty cash report: presented by Bob Marshall.
October minutes, circulated for review.
All reports and minutes passed unanimously.
Old Business.
Vietnam Memorial at Fernley Cemetery. Darrol Brown reported Chapter 388 has begun committee work. VVA has been given 4 acres to use.
Chapter 388 Website. Bill Thomas reported on progress to add a Chapter 989 page.
Chapter 388 Christmas party and dinner will be held December 5. Cost is $20.00 per person, plus a $10.00 white elephant gift.
December meeting: Chapter 989 will be dark in December. The next meeting will be January 20, 2011.
New Business.
Greg Montalvo announced the chapter’s participation in the Sparks Hometown Christmas Parade on December 4. Troy Stormoen of the Vet Center announced they will provide a float.
Bob Primeaux announced that he would be running for president of Chapter 989 and Bill Thomas would run for vice president.
Ron Coleman announced plans for a greater number of outreaches and membership drives in the coming year.
