Gold Star Family’s Day Luminary Event Invitation

You are invited to attend the upcoming Luminary Ceremony to commemorate Gold Star Family’s Day and mark the Second Anniversary of the Gold Star Memorial at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home at 36 Battle Born Way in Sparks, Nevada. The event will also recognize Blue Star Mothers and pay tribute to the 12 fallen Marines and one sailor who recently died in the Afghanistan War.

The ceremony is set for Sunday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. (just before sundown) next to the Gold Star Memorial in front of the facility.  Major General Ondra L. Berry will serve as the keynote speaker.
